Q: What is your favorite thing about working at Delaware Tech?

“My favorite part about working at Delaware Tech is engaging with the community. A big part of my job is reaching out to the community to see if someone is interested in joining our Child Development Center family.”

Q: What made you want to come work at Delaware Tech?

“I chose Delaware Tech for the atmosphere. I have always been a lover of the city. I love going to work and walking into a warm and welcoming center every day.”

Q: What did you do before working at Delaware Tech?

“Before Delaware Tech, I worked at another childcare center. I absolutely love working with children and seeing smiling faces ready to learn something new every day.”

Q: Describe your first day at Delaware Tech. What was that experience like?

“My first day was very warm and welcoming. Everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I felt like I belonged to a team.”

Q: What hobbies or interests do you have outside of the College?

“Outside of the college, some of my hobbies include cooking, exercising, playing board games, camping, and antiquing. I also love to spend time with my husband, daughter and dog, Cali.”

Q: Do you have a favorite memory from your time at Delaware Tech thus far?

“My favorite memory of working here is just seeing the kids’ smiling faces every morning greeting me.”

Q: What’s something people may not know about you?

“When you first meet me, I am quiet, but it takes time for me to open. Also, I have five sisters, and I am a pescatarian.”

Q: What are your future goals?

“My future goals are to grow the center. I want to make the center feel welcoming. I want the teachers, children, and families to feel like this is the safest place for their child to be.”
